Do I need a card for the free trial?
Yes. You add a card through Stripe when you start, and nothing is charged for 14 days. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Can I switch between Starter and Pro?
Yes, from your account at any time. Upgrades apply straight away; moving down takes effect at the end of what you've paid for. Nothing is deleted on a downgrade, and it all comes back when you upgrade again.
How much storage do I get?
Starter includes 2 GB and Pro 50 GB of file storage across all your projects, for photos, documents and attachments. Items in the Bin don't count.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Your data is then kept for 30 days so you can come back or export it, and permanently deleted after that.
Is there a plan for my whole company?
Today every plan is for one account. Team accounts with roles and company-wide controls are on the roadmap.

Is Sitro only for big contractors?
No. Sitro is built so one site manager, foreman or project manager can sign up and use it on their own job today. Larger firms use exactly the same tools, and team accounts with roles are on the way.
Do I need to talk to anyone to get started?
No. Create an account, start your 14-day free trial and you're in. Prices are on the pricing page, and you change or cancel your plan yourself from your account.
Can my team use it?
Today each person has their own account, and everyone on Sitro can message each other directly or in groups and share exports into a chat. Multi-user team accounts with role-based access per project are on the roadmap.
Does it work on site with a weak signal?
Yes. Sitro opens from what's already on your device, saves your changes there first and syncs them to the cloud as soon as it can. Install it on your phone or tablet straight from the browser.
What happens to my data?
Sitro is run by Prothopic Limited, a UK company, and is UK GDPR compliant. Your data lives on EU servers and is backed up every 6 hours to encrypted, tamper-locked backups held in the EU. Anything you delete sits in the Bin for 30 days so you can restore it.
How often does Sitro get new tools?
All the time. 35 features have shipped so far and 19 more are on the roadmap, including the Feed, Forms and PDF markup. Updates arrive automatically, with nothing to install.
